Wishing

For this project, I created a visual piece that accompanied a magazine article from the perspective of a college student about wishes for the future. The piece was printed in a feminist magazine.

This was a personal project that I wanted to explore unfamiliar Adobe Photoshop effects through, and ultimately I created this static butterfly using an image I took and transforming it into a digitally displaced rendition of the original.

This piece was also created to exist within a feminist magazine issue, as an exploration of color and texture on a digital medium that was then printed in the magazine.
Four Worlds
​
This series was created as a formal exploration of color, and experimenting with proportions of color. Utilizing only four colors, this work aims to transform the environment and transport the user to four different worlds based on the amount of each color present.
