“Diagrammatic Biorhythm” aims to visualize data that connects to the representation of transformation from one form to another through the visual imagery of tunnels. Through the juxtaposition of statistics about both birth and near-death experiences, and the visual motif of the tunnel, viewers are prompted to contemplate the suggestion of reincarnation. While there are currently no studies that prove a correlation between vaginal births and near-death experiences in which people see a tunnel, by composing these data sets next to each other, viewers are able to draw their own connections between the elements.
